Tea for Your Teeth

Many drink options can contribute to dental health issues. Whether it’s the acid in fruit juices or the acid and sugar in soft drinks, it’s hard to find drinks that don’t harm teeth or help them.

Research has found that tea is one of the best drinks for teeth. This is especially true for green tea, which contains antioxidants called catechins that improve oral health.

A study done in Japan found that almost all participants who drank at least one cup of tea daily showed improved gum health and reduced gum bleeding.

Remember that while black tea is also good for health, it causes teeth to stain. But both teas are good for your health if you don’t add sugar.
